Common Exchange: Performing the Cambridge Common

Beginning in May, Cambridge Arts will present Common Exchange, a series of art installations, performances, and exhibitions in and around the Cambridge Common that highlights the historic green as a connective space: a space defined by the exchange of ideas, words, and things—a space of conversation. Organized in honor of the park’s recent pathway renovations, time-based and participatory projects will take place over five months and include the work of ten artists: Andy Graydon, Paul Ramirez Jonas, Carmen Papalia, Aki Sasamoto, Kelly Sherman, Xaviera Simmons, Allison Smith, Julianne Swartz, Lee Walton and Jon Rubin.

You can find the full calendar of exhibitions, performances and installations online at https://www.cambridgema.gov/arts/publicart/commonexchange.
