2023 SNEUCC Justice Summit: Trans and Nonbinary Belonging in the Church

The Southern New England UCC’s annual Justice Summit in 2023 will center on trans and nonbinary belonging in the church. This full-day event includes worship and preaching, workshops, relationship-building and connection. Workshop options include an introductory session for people who have had little exposure to the experiences of trans and nonbinary people, as well as sessions for trans and nonbinary people, and cisgender people who have begun to engage in the work of fostering trans belonging. The Justice Summit is a hybrid event, being hosted at Old South Church in Boston, with options for in-person or online participation. As part of a conference-wide initiative on Trans and Nonbinary Affirming Churches, First Church in Cambridge has eight spots reserved at the conference.
