Art on Display: Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise

First Church member and artist Henry Gates displays ten paintings of Ghiberti’s Gates of Paradise, bronze door sculptures found in Florence, Italy. The ochre paints evoke the humanity of these Biblical scenes in Genesis through Kings. Henry provides titles which imply contemporary ethical questions to ponder. All are welcome to gaze and wonder together.
