First Worship on the Lawn: Blessing of the Animals

On this Sunday nearest to St. Francis Day, we invite you and your beloved animal companions to join us for a special Blessing of the Animals as part of our First Worship service at 9:45 on the First Church lawn. This will be a moment of gratitude for all the gifts our pets give us and a celebration of all God’s creatures and creation!
All things bright and beautiful, all creatures great and small are welcome! Pets are welcome on leash or in crates; if it’s easier on you and/or your pet, you may also bring a photo to be blessed.
