During an early May 9:30 Adult Formation program, members of the First Church Archives Team offered a presentation about our First Church archives, which include sermons, records, and historical documents. A few date back to the 1630’s; the most valuable are held at Harvard Libraries or in safety deposit boxes. We also hold items that have no connection with First Church’s own history or record. At our June 25 Special Congregational Meeting, our Assets Research Team and Archives Team will jointly recommend the deaccessioning of our non-First Church related archival materials, and making them available for sale.
