Night Song is a worship opportunity that offers stillness and sublime music in a darkened sanctuary for respite and reset. This evening’s Night Song will be the last before their summer hiatus. Twenty-five singers from all three choral ensembles for Night Song will join forces to sing compline on Trinity Sunday to conclude the 2022-23 season. You’ll hear the premiere performance of Psalm 1 by Patricia Van Ness, Confiteor by Black American composer Kevin Allen, a plainchant hymn with instrumental improvisations, a double choir motet by Peter Philips, a piano improvisation inspired by a work of J.S. Bach, a piece for cello and piano by Debussy, and an organ piece by Jehan Alain.

Night Song will resume on Regathering Sunday, September 10.
