Tackling Homelessness: An evening with New York Times critic Michael Kimmelman

Distinguished journalist Michael Kimmelman will be the guest lecturer at a benefit event in support of the Friday Café. Join us for Tackling Homelessness: Hope Amid the Challenge. Mr. Kimmelman will share insights gained while documenting the efforts of the city of Houston to find homes for tens of thousands of unhoused residents. The evening will also feature the premier of a short video about the Friday Café by Café volunteer and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker John MacGibbon, a member of Pentecostal Tabernacle Church. The event will conclude with light refreshments. Purchase tickets to attend in person or online.
