Women’s Community Book Group

Please join us for our first meeting of the new program year! All those in the First Church community who identify as women are welcome. We will start with Women Talking by Miriam Toews. Based on true events, Women Talking describes how a group of women respond when they discover that they have been abused by men in their community. It is a shocking, sad, and intelligent book, surely to prompt an important conversation. We encourage everyone to see the movie and read the book, as we will discuss both versions. Please join us, and bring a friend!
